1-Ply SMS Mask (Co-Branded with Ahlstrom)

By partnering with Ahlstrom Fibercomposites India Pvt Ltd, Thea-Tex has launched an exclusively co-branded single layer SMS mask that offers both protection and comfort. This 1-Ply SMS mask is a superior and cost effective alternative to the most widely used domestic yet ineffective 2-Ply mask.

What is SMS Fabric?

 

SMS is a trilaminate nonwoven in which one layer of Meltblown non woven is sandwiched between 2 layers of PP Spunbond. The Meltblown has a very high density web of fine fibres and is suitable for applications requiring filtration (of particulates, bacteria, fluids). The two layers of Spunbond are added to provide the necessary strength resistance.
