Thea-Tex Healthcare (India) Pvt Ltd is a professional particulate respirator and surgical mask manufacturer that also produces and markets allied non woven finished products such as disposable caps, gowns and shoe covers.
The unique company name is an amalgamation of the two words, THEAtre TEXtiles. Established in 2004,
Thea-Tex commenced commercial production in early 2005 and has quickly grown to one of India’s leading professional mask and respirator producers.
Thea-Tex is located at the famous industrial hub of Vasai, Maharashtra, which is in close proximity to the commercial capital of India, Mumbai and is well serviced by ports, national highways and reputed logistics providers.
The sophisticated manufacturing facility covering more than 25,000 square foot at the newly constructed, CIDCO approved Anand Mangal Industrial Estate, meets the highest level of Japanese quality and hygiene standards.
The hi-tech automated production lines comprise the latest Taiwanese ultrasonic converting machines. Thea-Tex houses more than 20 machines with an installed daily capacity of more than 1,000,000/1 Million pieces.
The workforce exceeding 150 people is managed by a close knit core team and Directed by professionals specialising in engineering, finance, technical textiles and healthcare.
Thea-Tex is an ISO 9001 certified company with the British Standards Institute, and follows the quality management
standard meticulously. Quality is an integral part of the company’s processes and systems. Only the finest quality raw
materials are sourced globally from the world’s leading manufacturers. Additionally, Japanese hygiene management, export quality packing and adherence to delivery schedules all contribute to the overall concept of Total Quality Management (TQM).

The pricing policy is an essential factor in the successful and exponential growth of the Company in the last few years. Thea-Tex operates off a fixed margin with competitive pricing in relation to the prevailing market rates without
compromising on the product quality.
Thea-Tex’s domestic market coverage comprises more than 150 regular and loyal clients spanning each state of India. By supplying mainly in Bulk/Neutral/OEM packing Thea-Tex supports some of India’s leading domestic brands and MNC's by providing high quality, low cost products in large volumes. Internationally, Thea-Tex exports its CE marked masks in the Thea-Tex brand which meet European Surgical Mask Standard EN 14683:2005. A European Union 'Authorised Representative' has been appointed in the United Kingdom and CE registration formalities have been completed with the UK's 'Notified Body', which is the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Body (MHRA). By 2011 Thea-Tex will submit its FDA 510 K Pre-Market Notification for supplying surgical masks to the USA.
Both Surgical Mask and Particulate Respirator testing is regularly performed at Nelson Labs, Utah, USA, verifying the Company’s confidence in the international quality and performance of its masks. The latest product launch, the Duck Bill Particulate Respirator (TT-DBN95) meets the requirements of Title 42, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 84 (42 CFR 84), and in September 2010 was granted approval by the US Government's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health vide NIOSH Approval Number TC-84A-5296.
